Double T Slabs

Prestressed Double T Slabs are rampantly used in buildings where a long unsupported span is desired. When suitably designed for dynamic loads, they are well suited for car parking structures. They can also be used in retrofitting of buildings, by adding extra floors over a existing building without taking any support form the existing building. Spans of upto 18-20m are easily possible with relatively thin sections of concrete.
